November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month. Create a gift for your family that will last forever and support awareness for a disease that we hope to someday eliminate.

Damon Photography in proud support of the New England Lung Cancer Project (http://www.nelcp.org/) in their mission to eliminate the stigma associated with lung cancer and to provide funding for education, support and medical research for lung cancer patients and their families.

For every family that has a portrait done on the weekend of Nov 26 and 27th; Damon Photography will donate the $75 sitting fee to the New England Lung Cancer Project as well as a portion of all other proceeds from that weekend. Families will get beautiful portraits in time for the holidays and gorgeous Christmas cards to share with family and friends.

Class of 2012 It's Senior Portrait Time!!!

The summer is going to go by fast and soon you will start your senior year of high school. Your yearbook picture is due the end of September, which means NOW is the time to schedule your session. All sessions are $75. I am having a special half off session sale if you schedule yours before 8/15/2011. Those spots are limited so if you want to save, call soon.

Damon Photography turns five this year. (though I have been shooting since forever). As I reflect on the past five years, I can say it has definitely been a growth process and a true blessing. I could not have done it with out the love and support of my family(especially Greg, Mariel and Conor who I know has my back 100%) and friends. I am so thankful for all my beautiful clients and photographer friends and mentors that have helped me along my journey. I THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.

I am planning fun sessions and promotions and lots of extra goodies for you to help celebrate. Keep checking back to see what is going on. Again thank you all...and Happy 2011!!!

Mallory is growing and growing........(Maine baby photography)

Little Miss Mallory came in for her 6 month portraits (even though technically she is now seven months). This little girl just makes me smile every time I see her-she is pure joy!!! In December we did her Christmas photos-one of my favorites is in her Santa hat...

She is growing up to be so sweet and cute!!! We are hoping to do some special pictures for her 1st birthday in August....

Portraits ARE fun...Robinson Family in January.....(Maine family portraits)

The Robinson family contacted me about having their family portraits done in December. They wanted some formal portraits in the studio, as well as fun images of the family doing what they typically do-my favorite sessions to photograph!!! Yvette also needed some head shots for her run for Legislature-District 89. I wish her the best in her campaign. For the fun stuff we decided to go to Kinewatha to play football in the snow. The boys (and Family) love the Patriots, and mom & dad wanted to see their great natural smiles-What better way to get both and have fun too. Family portraits can be done year round...indoor or out.
This was a super fun session with a terrific family...

The Baker's Market Cafe opening soon in Wilton....(Maine Photography)

Maine Street, Wilton has a bakery coming back to town soon-and the food is DE-LISH!!! The old bakery actually use to be located where my studio is now. I always hear how folks wanted to have one come back. The Baker's Market Cafe is hoping to open in May....Check out some of the food I photographed too-I had a few favorites, but everything is yummy!!!

I'm Certified!!!!

After a long time of studying and learning and growing with my photography, I have passed the big test and image submission for Certified Professional Photographer from the Professional Photographers of America. I was so so so HAPPY to receive the notification today in the mail-it came in a golden tube even. I am anxious to hang it on the walls at the studio, and work on the press release for the local papers. I also found out I am one of only 6 professional photographers in the whole state to have my CPP.
